Criteria for Admission in IGNOU, 2024
Candidates must complete the following requirements for admission to IGNOU:

Following are the list of the documents that are required for applying to IGNOU. Candidates must keep all their documents ready before applying for the exam. The documents which need to be uploaded with the examination form include signature, age proof, educational qualification certificates, and photographs. You might be asked to upload a scanned copy of your documents; therefore, you must be prepared with that.

Apply Process for IGNOU Admission January, 2024
Indira Gandhi National Open University admission process for the January academic session will commence in two modes online and offline. Following are the steps which you can follow to apply for IGNOU admissions in January 2024 session. Students must note that they will have to complete the registration process along with the payment of fees before the due date. IGNOU requires a one-time registration fee of 200 INR from applicants seeking admission. The registration process shall be completed only after the payment of fees. The application fee depends on the courses you chose. For general UG, PG, Certificate, Diploma courses, the application Fee is INR 300.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university – https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/
Step-2: Tap on the link saying the “Click Here for New Registration” tab.
Step-3: You will get the registration form. You have to complete the registration form that is visible on the screen.
Step-4: Candidates must select the “Register” tab after completing all the fields in the IGNOU registration form 2023.
Step-5: Then, the user ID and password for the students will be sent to their registered email and mobile number.
Step-6: Students must now upload their documents, signatures and images in the specified format and size.
Step-7: Applying for admission requires a fee, which can be paid with a debit card, credit card, ATM card, UPI, or net banking. Select any payment mode and proceed with the payment of fees.
Step-8: Finally, press the “Submit” key. Take a few prints of the correctly completed IGNOU application form for your records.
Students must check that all the details provided by them are correct, along with their spellings. Also, they must keep their registration number and other details safe, as it will be required in the later stages.
